Fall is by far my favorite season - the weather is perfect for hiking, sweaters, hot coffee, and candles. Being in New York this year has made me less in tune with nature and but much more in tune with fashion. I can't walk to work without seeing the hottest new trends. Also, my friends are a lot more fashionable than my medical school friends, so I have to dress more. This years must have for me include a leather bomber jacket, black turtleneck, boyfriend jeans, black booties, and oversized scarf, and comfortable kicks.
I started making myself a lust list, and figured I'd share it with you guys. I tried to narrow the list, but like I said, it's the best season of the year. It's very shoe heavy because after not buying new shoes for years, I need SO MANY SHOES. Also, a pair of boyfriend jeans and black turtleneck can turn into so many outfits depending on which shoes you throw on.

What are you thinking about for winter already? I just found a pair of boots I'm emotionally prepared to splurge on. I'm pinching myself for missing the shopbop sale. Why do great sales now happen when I'm on vacation??
