Christmas is my favorite time of the year for two reasons
1. It's the season of family. I've always loved this aspect of the season, but it has become even more meaningful now that I live so far away from my family.
2. The season of gift giving which for me is the best of both worlds. I get to shop for others AND receive (I know I know, it's supposed to be about giving, but sue me).
Anyway, here's my ridiculous wish list that I have forwarded to every one in my family because I'm still an obnoxious, demanding child at heart.
Canada Goose coat
I have no idea how I made it through my first NYC winter last year, but I'm already cold with two coats on. I can't this year. I won't. Please, mom. Don't let me freeze.
Frye Samantha hiking boot
I've wanted these shoes for an entire year, and I think it's my time. They are cute and warm and weather proof. I'm so happy that fashion has become functional. I don't know how the SJPs did it.
MacBook Pro
I actually bought this for myself as an early Christmas gift. My 2011 MacBook Air has been basically dead for a year now. It was to the point of only working when connected to a charger, which basically made it a crappy desktop. Then, when I moved in with Boz, it refused to connect to the internet. Which is one of the reasons my blogging was postponed. Well, now I'm back at it, and I'm seriously in awe of how quickly this post is coming together.
A bougie, indulgent, candle that smells as good as it looks
It's cold and I don't plan to leave the apartment for January or February.. probably not March either. I deserve this.
Dainty jewelry
because I don't want to be basic anymore.
hair accessories: shhhower cap, form hair products, hair diffuser
What's on your Christmas list?
